The Meta Quest 3 will be available to purchase from October 10, 2023. You can already pre-order the 128GB and 512GB models, directly from Meta and select retail partners including Best Buy and Newegg.
Meta revealed its plans to launch the Quest 3 on October 10 during its Meta Connect 2023 event, on September 27. This release date comes just three days shy of the three-year anniversary of the Quest 2’s debut.

The Meta Quest 3 price starts at $499.99 / £479.99 with 128GB of storage, with an additional 512GB model available for $649.99 / £619.99.
This price point leaves the Quest 3 costing $100 more than that its predecessor did at launch, for the same amount of storage. However, it is considerably cheaper than the Quest Pro, to the tune of $500, despite being more powerful.
What are the Meta Quest 3 specs?
The Meta Quest 3 specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 CPU, providing the headset with “double” the GPU processing power versus Quest 2. It also features thinner and higher resolution lenses as part of its ‘4K+ Infinite Display’ for a sharper, more immersive experience.
