Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banners
The second phase of Honkai Star Rail 1.6 banners features the five-star character Dr. Ratio (Hunt, Imaginary) in his debut ‘Panta Rhei’ banner, which runs concurrently alongside a banner rerun of five-star character Kafka (Nihility, Lightning) in her ‘Nessun Dorma’ banner. We expect these banners to run from Wednesday, February 7, to Tuesday, March 21, 2024.
These banners include increased drop rates for four-star characters Sushang (Hunt, Physical), Natasha (Abundance, Physical), and Hook (Destruction, Fire).
Finally, the Brilliant Fixation light cone banner for the second phase of the 1.6 update includes Dr. Ratio’s five-star light cone, Baptism of Pure Thought, as well as an increased drop rate for Patience Is All You Need, Kafka’s five-star light cone.
The next Honkai Star Rail banners
The next Honkai Star Rail banner is ‘Floral Triptych’, which features the debut of five-star character Ruan Mei (Harmony, Ice). This banner is accompanied by a rerun of five-star character Blade’s banner, ‘A Lost Soul. Both banners comprise the first phase of Honkai Star Raul 1.6 and are expected to run from Wednesday, December 27 to Tuesday, February 6, 2024.
Four-star character Xueyi (Destruction, Quantum) is also set to make her debut on both of these banners, alongside increased drop rates for March 7th (Preservation, Ice) and Tingyun (Harmony, Lightning).

Current Honkai Star Rail event banner
The current Honkai Star Rail banner is ‘Thorns of Scented Crown’ featuring the debut of five-star character Argenti (Erudition, Physical). This banner is accompanied by a rerun of five-star character Silver Wolf’s banner, ‘Contract Zero’. Both banners run from Wednesday, December 6 to Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Both banners also includes increased drop rates for four-star characters Hanya (Harmony, Physical), Lynx (Abundance, Quantum), and Asta (Harmony, Fire).
Current Honkai Star Rail Light Cone banner
The current Honkai Star Rail Light Cone banner is ‘Brilliant Fixation’, which includes Argenti’s five-star Light Cone, An Instant Before A Gaze. Like the event banner, this Light Cone banner runs until Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Huohuo’s Light Cone banner also includes increased drop rates for three additional four-star Light Cones: Post-Op Conversation, The Birth of the Self, Shared Feeling, Trend of the Universal Market, and Under the Blue Sky.
Generally, two limited-time event banners run concurrently over the course of a single phase, featuring a limited five-star character and their signature Light Cone. Three other four-star characters and Light Cones appear alongside them, and all have an increased drop rate – effectively, if you were to pull a five-star or four-star on either of these banners, there’s a 50/50 chance that it’ll be one of the characters or Light Cones that feature on the banner itself.
Honkai Star Rail standard banner
The Honkai Star Rail standard banner is called ‘Stellar Warp’, and is a permanent fixture that offers the chance to pull from the standard pool of characters and Light Cones.
Unlike the event banner, the Honkai Star Rail standard banner only requires regular Star Rail passes, which are far more common than their special counterparts. While you can’t pull limited characters like Seele or Imbibitor Lunae from this banner, there are still a variety of highly coveted five-star characters that you’re in with a chance to win – be sure to check out our Honkai Star Rail tier list to discover the best of the bunch.
