As you may have already guessed from its name, Warzone Caldera is Infinity Ward’s solution for fans of the original multiplayer game who aren’t quite ready to make the switch over to Warzone 2. Given that the sequel is irrevocably tied to the systems developed in Modern Warfare 2, moving into Warzone 2 Season 1 and beyond necessitates leaving all your progress behind and starting afresh.

Thankfully, the best free PC game preserves everything you unlocked in the original Warzone, including weapons, battle pass content, and premium purchases made in Modern Warfare (2019), Warzone, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard. Warzone Caldera release date

The Warzone Caldera release date is November 28, 2022. Players can access the battle royale game on Battle.net by downloading the latest update for Modern Warfare 2019.

Warzone Rebirth Island

Warzone Caldera only supports the titular map at launch. Activision has not mentioned whether Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep are going to return to the game any time soon. While Warzone Caldera won’t have an in-game store, COD Points will be transferrable between all games, so you can continue using this currency to purchase cosmetics and other in-game content. However, just as you can’t take any of this content into Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2, you also can’t transfer XP tokens between games.
