The best games like Fall Guys on PC 2023

Games like Fall Guys include crazy, chaotic gameplay, colourful aesthetics, and seamless multiplayer interaction, and here's just a few of the best.

Best games like Fall Guys

Looking for some games like Fall Guys? Equal parts infuriating and addictive, Fall Guys is the brightest, bounciest battle royale game we’ve ever failed repeatedly at – and we have failed at a lot of battle royales. Even though Fall Guys itself is now free to play, after one too many gleeful hours toddling around and bouncing out of the competition, you may be wondering what other fun-yet-competitive party games you can pick up and play with friends, family, or even strangers. Well, wonder no more, my wobbly bean.

As we gush about in our Fall Guys review, the ‘original’ – as it were – is a fun, mindless jaunt through colourful rounds, and it’s as enjoyable as it sounds. Thanks to that flawless formula, a couple of controversial games have tried to directly imitate the aesthetic and Takeshi’s Castle-esque gameplay of Fall Guys. This list, though, encompasses a variety of multiplayer games – from those with a similar eye-burning colour scheme, to rage-inducing battle royale games, and strategic puzzle games with hilarious and mind-bending limb physics, rather than exact rip-offs. So, whatever aspect of the Mediatonic battle royale you find most appealing, there’s sure to be something in this list of games like Fall Guys that you’ll love just as much.

The best games like Fall Guys in 2023 are:

Some of the Party Animals creatures fly around the map in one of the best games like Fall Guys.

Party Animals

The adorable ragdoll physics of you Party Animals character perfectly mimics that of Fall Guys, just in the form of your favorite animals. Otters, ducks, even a hammerhead shark, they’re all there for the choosing to take into each level of this chaotic battle royale.

Just like Fall Guys, some of the Party Animals rounds pit you against every one of your friends to be the last man standing, while others split you into teams, either way, you much kick, push, and tumble your way to the win as others try to drag you down.

Games like Fall Guys: player characters run along a planet's rings in Fall Guys-alike Stumble Guys.

Stumble Guys

OK, it’s called Stumble Guys… and it’s about as close to Fall Guys as you’d want to get. To be honest, while Stumble Guys is a perfectly fun and suitable alternative to the Mediatonic original, it’s so similar that there’s really no reason to choose it over Fall Guys since the latter became free to play. Stumble Guys is available on Steam though, so if you and your friends don’t have Epic Games accounts, it’s definitely worth a few fun and chaotic games.

Games like Fall Guys: a team of four players battles it out in the snow, rolling large snow balls towards each other.

Pummel Party

Pummel Party isn’t a 60-player battle royale, but is still an incredibly fun party game to play with friends. In fact, Pummel Party perhaps has more in common with the Mario Party series gameplay-wise – although its over-the-top violence isn’t quite as family-friendly as Princess Peach and pals. As your party of up to eight players make their way across a perilous game board, pick up weapons and powerups to utterly annihilate one another. If you’re the type of Fall Guys player to sabotage others by strategically yeeting them off the course, you’ll certainly enjoy deploying rage-inducing methods of murdering your buds in Pummel Party.

Pummel Party has even more minigames than Fall Guys; while there’s some measure of skill involved, you can easily fall foul of bad luck and be unfairly teamed up on – try not to take it too seriously, as repeated losses can be seriously rage-inducing.

Games like Fall Guys: A cute, cartoonish dinosaur, tiger, chicken, and blue bear hang to one another off the side of a blimp in Gang Beasts.

Gang Beasts

Much like Fall Guys, Gang Beasts is a technicolour party game featuring gelatinous creatures wobbling around with minimal control over their limbs – trying to get your character to move how you want them to is all part of the fun. The Gang Beasts of Beef City – to give them their proper title – are far more violent than their plump Fall Guys cousins, peppering each other with punches in order to be the last one standing.

It’s a fun beat ‘em up, with several multiplayer stages to choose from, each with their own hilarious ways to sabotage your friends and throw them off the side – though they may well take you down with them.

Games like Fall Guys: A princess, a dog, a crash-test dummy, and other crazy characters compete in the physics-based puzzle game Human Fall Flat.

Human: Fall Flat

Like Fall Guys, Human: Fall Flat plays fast and loose with human movement mechanics, to ensure the years you spent refining your skills in multiplayer games are effectively useless. You and your party will each steer a Human through one of the myriad dreamscapes on offer, puzzling your way through together as you figure out how to get to the end when you have all the grace and agility of a bag of flour.

It can be played solo, but once you add more Humans to the mix, the platform game plays totally differently – for better or for worse – as you create increasingly complex chains of doughy humans to scale obstacles. Regular updates add new levels that provide brand new challenges, and there’s plenty of user-generated content on the Steam Workshop for you to explore.

Games like Fall Guys: An orange character drags a green character along the ground while aiming a shotgun in front of him in Havocado.

Havocado

Havocado is another ragdoll physics-based beat-’em-up indie game – but what sets it apart from the rest is the huge arsenal of hilariously inventive weapons and vehicles you can use to blow up your buddies. You’ll be cavorting around the level, using jetpacks, rockets, grenades, and even an eel gun. It shoots out big slippery yellow eels that fizzle like electric bananas. Need we say more?

There are several maps to choose from, including some secret levels you’ll need to unlock. It’s great fun for players of all ages, but you’ll need to bring your own squad as servers aren’t particularly populated.

Games like Fall Guys: A blue imposter bean kills a yellow crewmate bean in social deduction game Among Us.

Among Us

Many comparisons have been drawn between the beanlike protagonists of Fall Guys and the stubby spacemen of Among Us, and you still get to sabotage your mates – just in far more brutal ways.

Among Us is a social deduction game in which groups of up to ten friends attempt to patch up an outpost by completing a series of small repair tasks. However, up to three of them are impostors, who can sabotage the crewmates’ noble efforts in various ways – and also stab them to death. When an emergency meeting is called, or a body is reported, the crewmates can choose a suspect to eject from the station, so as we explain in our Among Us imposter guide, traitors must avoid suspicion at all costs. For the good guys, our Among Us crewmate guide will teach you how to become the ultimate detective.

Games like Fall Guys: Five colourful frogs compete in Junktopia, part of Jackbox Party Pack 9.

Jackbox Party Packs

If hilarious fun with friends is what you’re after, then there’s nothing better than the side-splitting Jackbox Party Packs. Now with nine packs to choose from, each with five individual games, there’s a massive choice of multiplayer mini-games to choose from and compete in – from being turned into a frog in Junktopia, to putting your art skills to the test in Pictionary-like Drawful, or using your general knowledge skills to stay alive in Trivia Murder Party.

Games like Fall Guys: a cute racoon chef cooks a colourful meal in Overcooked 2.

Overcooked! 2

One of the most notoriously stressful co-op games in existence, but still one of our favourites, Overcooked! 2 is perfect for groups of up to four friends who are very patient, slow to anger, and aren’t inclined to blame other people for their own mistakes. All skills honed in Fall Guys. Alternatively, you can rage out and threaten to throw your fellow cooks straight in the bin, next to the sushi they ruined.

You play as an overworked chef, in a race against time to serve hungry customers the correct meal. You’ll need to manage a staggering number of time sensitive demands through the power of teamwork. Managed to refine your kitchen workflow down to a science? Good for you – now try it in a kitchen on a slippery iceberg. Now do it in the dark. Now do it in hell. Cooking games don’t typically involve those locations, and that’s why we love Overcooked! 2 so much.

Those are the best PC games like Fall Guys we know of, but we’ll keep you updated with any new party games that stumble onto PC. If, in the meantime, you’re tired of battling you buddies, work together in some of our favourite co-op games available, or lose them altogether in some single-player story games. If the main appeal of Fall Guys is its affordability, we’ve also got a list of the best free PC games you can get your hands on, too.
